Coming Back to Yourself

Beyond the Inner Critic

Sunday, October 25 | 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
Lynden, WA | $125 per person

Make space for a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Coming Back to Yourself: Beyond the Inner Critic is a half-day women’s wellness retreat centered around exploring the way we speak to ourselves and beginning to understand the different voices we carry with more curiosity and compassion.

That critical voice may sound like the part of us that learned to be perfect, the younger version of ourselves who wanted to belong, the caretaker who puts everyone else first, or the voice that believes being hard on ourselves will somehow keep us safe or moving forward.

Rather than trying to silence those parts of ourselves, we’ll create space to notice them, understand them, and explore a different way of responding.

Throughout the afternoon, Amanda of Wild & Stable Wellness and Abigail Tolman will guide you through experiences designed to bring you out of your head and back into connection with yourself.

Your retreat experience includes:

Horse-Guided Reflection
Ground-based activities with the horses designed to encourage presence, self-awareness, curiosity, and reflection. No riding or previous horse experience is required.

Restorative Yoga
Gentle, accessible movement and restorative practices with Abigail, creating space to slow down and reconnect with your body. No Yoga experience necessary.

Immersive Sound Experience
A deeply restful sound experience designed to give you space to simply be, receive, and settle into the moment.

Guided Reflection + Workbook
You’ll receive a workbook to use throughout the retreat as we explore the inner critic, the voices we carry, and what it can look like to cultivate a more compassionate internal relationship. Your workbook is yours to take home and continue using after the retreat.

Tea + Snacks
Warm tea, light snacks, and time for genuine connection with other women are included.
